Prospect  was the Beloved husband of the late Amy, Dear father of Alice (Don) Quick, Gwen (Don) Foster, Norma (John) Crawford, Mary (Rick) Palmer and Nancy (Dave) Hanson,  Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, Richard Blake (Michelle), Eric, J. Alexander, Rebecca, Erin (Matt), Natalie (Ian), Nathan (Darcy), Stephanie, Andrea, Hannah, Zachary, Ryan, William (Shannon) and Melanie, and Loving great grandfather of Reese, Logan, Jackson, Avery and two more to arrive soon.

Dick was a longtime member of Northwest Covenant Church where he participated in Community Bible Study and was a member of Promise Keepers.  He loved his wife of 51 years, Amy, his children, grandchildren and family. He was passionate about gardening and had an exceptional tomato crop to share. He served in the Korean War.  He was a lifelong Cubs fan who was acknowledged at a Chicago Cubs game in June 2014. Dick was an auto mechanic for over 40 years and taught his daughters how to work on cars. He was a quiet man who loved and served the Lord.

Service Saturday 11:00 A.M. at Northwest Covenant Church, 300 N. Elmhurst Ave. Mt. Prospect
